Our Mission
Amigos de Patzún creates educational opportunities for impoverished students in rural Guatemala. We offer competitive scholarships to middle and high school students who would not be able to continue their education past sixth grade. Amigos de Patzún is predicated on the belief that education is a basic human right, and can be a catalyst of systemic change and development
Scholar Profile
Mynor Tzuquen has overcome incredible odds. At a young age, Mynor lost his father in a tragic auto accident, leaving his mother and six siblings without a means of income.
